I noticed that the humidity was higher than normal in my air conditioned family room that hosue my aquarium. A few years ago, I installed an exhaust fan in my canopy that blows the warm air outside my home. It was not pulling as much air yesterday so I checked the outside vents that were clear and unblocked. Then I unplugged the fan and checked the blades on the paddle fan. They were caked with grime. I removed it from the canopy, disassembled it and cleaned it. Cleaning each blade is a major PITA even with cleaning fluid / alchohol. Took around 3 hours from removal to reinstallation in the canopy!
