Lumenarc III Reflector Orientation

I am planning my new light fixture installation.
Dose anyone know the reccomended lamp orientation for the Lumenarc III Reflectors and Fixtures? Which is correct, the bulb parallel to the front of the tank (the bulb runs left to right or vice versa) OR perpendicular to the front of the tank (the bulb runs from front to back or vice versa) ?

Did a search and found a few pictures but they were har to see.
I believe the bulb should run from front to back from the pictures but still not sure??????
