Lost Some Fish

A couple weeks ago i bought 3 blue/green chromis. A few days ago there were only two...and yesterday there was only one ..One of the chromis was a little on the bigger side do you think that it bullied the other two?

But checked all my parameters today and everything seemed fine so looks like my clean up crew did its job. My tank looked empty so i went and got a nice new royal gramma to fill the spot of the 2 fallen fish.

Hi Rob!

Many people have a hard time keeping chromis fish long term. Not sure why, but I have similar experience with these fish.

I also got a super male Squamippinis Anthia and 5 females last year. Now there is just the super male and one female. I read that these males prefer a large harem of females but it did not work out for me so I did not add any more females.

Cool. My tank is finally looking normal again...it has been a really bad year losing all of my acropora (some 5 years old) to the AEFWs, and then the ozone disaster. Nothing grew in my tank all year...not even algae! But now the green algae is starting to grow normally on the front glass and cyano is making a comeback as well. This tells me things are getting better and the tank is no longer a "sterile" acrylic box full of water.

The corraline is beginning to cover up the new aquascape nicely. I think june or july is a good time to start restocking my SPS again (with a good quarantine protocol). The few LPS I have are starting to color up nicely, and some "test" pieces of SPS I got from "denvig" are doing well. Time will tell I guess.
