Ice Cap ballast help

So I bought a used Ice Cap 175-MH ballast. It looks like the cables are made from PC plugs and they are all frayed. Does anyone know where I can buy a new harness for this MH ballast?

PIA getting sub par stuff….

Ballasts

Not exactly sure what you mean by PC plugs. But normally the ballasts come with wires without connectors or cables on them. You can use wire nuts, or solder connections, to connect the ballasts to the your bulb fixtures and to connect the input AC supply power lines to a water-proof connector. You can buy waterproof cable and AC power connectors (for the AC power cable that you plug into the wall outlets) at HD.

I just finished re-wiring mine for the new reflectors and fixtures.
LMK if you need help.

Yeah this is the old style ballast so it has one of those white plugs that the hot, cold and ground wires actually connect into. I am going to go to radio Shack on the way home and see if they carry a new plug to save me re crimping all 5 wires.....I will (if nothing else) buy some more “but” connectors to rewire the plug that connects to the ballast

SO I can’t find a replacement harness anywhere and the parts I bought did not quite fit the bill. With a WTFN attitude I emailed Ice Cap directly. Within 15 minutes I had a return email and was told the harnesses for this model are no longer manufactured. BUT they offered to make one for me, they did and already shipped it out same day! And it was cheap to boot!

Ice Cap just made a new life long customer…..absolutely incredible service!

Well, I know icecap will repair the ballasts for a flat fee. It seemed to be about half the price of buying a new one.
