Alright...I took a bunch of pictures tonight.
I burned the tar out of my corals a couple of months back with what was likely a cracked bulb. They have finally recovered pretty well. Overall I'm pleased with the new bulbs. They are South Pacific Sunlight 400wt 20k. They are much brighter than the xm bulbs I was using, but not as blue.

Ponape birdsnest

ORA Purple Pillow. I had a pretty good sized colony of this a couple of years back and lost it. I have just recently been able to find another frag. (Thanks Racer)

Hiller's Aqua Delight

Hiller's Aqua Delight

Rommel's Rainbow Acro (Still coloring up)

Caroliania- This has always been my favorite coral. its showing some different growth pattern after being the same for years.

Atlantis Pink Polyp Cap

Sunset montipora- This monti grows like a weed in my tank.

Marineduud's Confusia

Pseller's Green Acro

Mirabellis (sp)

Pink Lemonade (You can see my little mini frag of orange setosa to the left )

ORA Hawkin's Echinata

Eric's Red Stag

Sarmentosa

Your tank just keeps getting better! It is amazing to see your growth. Especially when seeing the original small frags! Good job teach (and dacro too).

"Recovered pretty well" is an understatement. I think I saw the tank shortly after the bulb incident and now you can hardly tell that anything happened. Your tank is truly an inspiration.

Teach, incredible tank. I would love to see it in person at some point. I was at the meeting on Saturday but did not get a chance to meet you. I had my daughter with me and she was ready to go before the meeting was over.
I have a question about your sump/refugium. What do you do for nutrient export? The tank looks sooo clean. Can you explain and possibly take a picture of under the stand. I am hoping to hear you say that you have everything underneath the aquarium stand and not in as separate fish room!! I have a 125 and I am limited to the space underneath the aquarium to work with.. I have a bare bottom setup and need to set up a separate refugium or other mechanism to bring some more good nutrients to the corals for better color. I am starving my corals a bit and my color are light and not saturated. I would love some more ideas.
Thanks
Andrewsreef.
