It is always fun to look at before and after pictures. Even better when you see results like this.

Under 14k lighting, the pictures come out very true. I just set the camera on auto.
Unfortunately, I like the tank much better with the 20k, but I can't get a good picture to save my life. I've tried everything. I guess I need a camera class. If you have the answer let me know.

You have to set your white balance with something that is pure white.

Did you do a manual white balance and point it at something that is pure white? Another thing you can try it setting your white balance by pointing it at something white in your tank, like your sand when you have the 20ks on.

I've tried numerous times, and can't seem to get it right. I may try to use one of the 14k pics as a measurement and see how that works. I guess I need a photography for dummies book.

Yeh, we talked to a "gal" this past weekend who had just purchased a 265 gallon (approx.) starfire from "glass cages":
Tank Length = 72 inches
Tank Width = 36 inches
Tank Height = 24 inches
Wasn't crazy about the position of the overflows, but it was drilled for a close loop and had 2" drains. You could get some serious flow through that "bad boy", not to mention the endless opportunities in creative aqua-scape.
One day...
