Tank of the month

Ok what happened to FEB.,March, April, May, June, July ?

With all of the new members there should be allot of new tanks out there and I was looking thru all of the current members and it looks like not many have Pics in there photo gallery ? I think thats a waste of space, How about you guy's?

Staying on topic. I think the pic of the month, tank of the month went away around the time we had a change of leadership.

I thought we stopped doing it b/c nobody wanted to submit pics or nominate themselves/eachother 2 months in a row. I want to say we decided on something semi-annual. I think monthly would be great given the number of members but I am not the one that would be doing all the work. I think whoever that person is (George maybe) should be included in this conversation. I think the lack of enthusiasm from most members didn't justify the work involved.

I personally would like to see it again, but again, I am not the one having to do all the work.

I miss the photo's of the month too. We can start one August 1st. Must not be a re-run. Steve had a nice picture of the month thread. Let me get with him and see how he did it. One picture per member.

George did tank of the month and picture of the month as well. He had trouble getting people to nominate tanks etc.. Then, when someone won within the same quarter, people got upset. He also arranged a prize from some lfs, and that didn't always work out.
I'm sure George would be more than happy to get it started again if members are interested and cooperative. I would think that quarterly winners for totm would be good.
