Reefneck's 75G AGA RR Cancer built tank






And Brand New (11/08/2006) Current USA Outer Orbit 2X150 HQI 10K with 2X130W PC Dual Actinics. Total 560 Watts over my tank. 7.4WPG.


Now just need that Coraline to get busy on the new "Arch".

Looks good but be careful. Wetwebmedia says that it can effect your PH for 6 months after it is made.

Also, I would be careful counting your actinics towards the total "useful" wattage. Your HQI really provide enough of the blue spectrum. In fact people like Bob Fenner and Anthony Calfo say the actinics are for the "eye of the beholder".

I understand why you and others say that. I agree for the most part about counting actinics toward total wattage. But I also believe that corals benefit from actinics.

Thanks Dacro. It's going to look amazing when it colours up and thids and things grow all over it. The other pieces I made were just shelf slabs, not as nice to look at, but will be useful in my tank I hope. Going to be tough reaquascaping though. I think I probably just put them in the 55g to colour up first, since the 55g is more of a coraline factory.
