My 75 AGA

Here is my 75. My camera sucks and I can't make the colors look right, but here it is.

Well it looks much better in person, but I can get my camera to capture the true colors. It is lite by a TEK t-5 8 bulb set up. I am running ATI bulbs, split evenly beteen Aqua Blue and Blue + bulbs. It is a totally different feel and look as compared to MH. I don't get the deep deep colors, but it makes everything very pastel looking. It has a 40 gallon sump/fuge with a octopus 200 skimmer.

Looks nice, another T5 user I see. Is this a pretty new set up? Are you getting good growth from the lights?

I've got a hard time taking pics w/ the Tek light because the light spills into the room and camera lens. I think I'm actually going to rig something up to block the light for pics.

Don't worry when you get your electric bill, I think it will make it easier to live without the "shimmer" of MH....at least when I look at my corals, I don't think " I sure wish I had shimmer". But thats just me.

When that tank grows in, it is going to look sick!! Nice job

Yea it is John, and I still can't afford it. You know this. I can't believe you didn't comment on my post, about Steve's corals for sale post.

Yea it is about 4 or 5 months old and I am getting great growth from the T-5's. I am very impressed, but could use a little shimmer. I was thinking the should(or myself) should make some kind of super bright LED that could cause shimmer, because it is a pin point source.

Yea I have one in mind down in tampa. It needs a little work and the idoit that has it has cut up the back fenders into wheel wells. He also put dump vents and stuff, but it can all be fixed.
