Golgi Aparatus' 55g reef

OK, I'm a little late in the game to be staring a tank thread, but here goes. I'll go ahead and post some pics from the beginning up until today. I think my little tank has come a long way in a year and a half!!

Here goes:

Here was my tank when it was FOWLR back almost 2 years ago:

This was the first coral in the tank, purchased at Rob's Reef!

This was an early centerpice , mixed polyp rock from Bio-Reef. It is a pretty interesting rock , IMO

Here is an early FTS:

Here is a FTS after adding a nice branching Hammer. It is a beauty!

Another pic of the Hammer. It is one of the best Hammer specimens I've seen in local stores...

A nice little ricordia...my first of many to come!!

This is the beginning of my little zoa/softie garden. I love this section of the tank!! This red mushroom has amazing color!!

The garden continues to grow....

Here is a semi recent shot of the left side of the tank:

Finally, here is my most recent FTS, with the addition of two open brains, a christmas tree montestrea, and a few other odds and ends. This is how it looks to this day...

Careful at Robs He will load you up with some sweet zoas! Heck, he will hook you up with some sweet sps when your ready too.

Your tank looks great. Can't wait to see how it looks once things grow out.

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the compliments. I'm really happy with the progress of the tank. I only wish I had a bigger tank now, it feels like I have almost run out of room in this tank. Oh well, I'm sure that I can add a few others if I strategically place some things.

I am really having a great time with this tank. I finally feel that I have reached a point where I'm really not doing a whole heck of alot to the tank on a daily basis anymore. Basically , I add Alk buffer or Calcium if the levels test a bit low and do 20% WC every few weeks and thats it.

I want to add a Midas Blenny to the the tank next. I think those are beautiful fish, however I have a hard time finding them in LFS around town.

Here in gainesville, Aquatropics is usually stocked with midas blenny's. I've had mine for a long time now and he's fully grown to about 6 inches or so. Big ol fish. He just lays on the rocks and perches under my frogspawn colony like he's sitting in the shade or something lol.
