FishhyRen's (Scott) 125 RR AGA
I figured I'd finally post some pics-
I don't have any new full tank shots, and I won't bore you all with the history of the tank too much...
I'll post a few of the original shots, and then hopefully I'll be able to keep it up from there...

Original setup in my last house- taken right after the SouthDown had settled-

This is the STUFF that got pulled out from the sand storm- it was like clay

Side view of my home-made refugium and self modified skimmer (SeaLife Systems 400 down-draft with Becket Mod)

My Ampmaster return pump- I have it broken down into 3 3/4inch pipes- two for return and one for the skimmer, all controlled with gate valves

The MESS that was behind my tank at the other house- I've since cleaned up the spaghetti a bit...

Picked up this Cuttlefish egg from Rob's back in the day-
Never got the little fellow to eat once he hatched (couldn't find anything small enough for him to eat!!)

Here's the tank vew back then-- This was just before I had a hair algea outbreak from hell- I've only now gotten it under control after I moved the tank and scrubbed every rock bit by bit! I have only a little left in the middle of my birdsnest colony, and I'm not too sure what to do about it...

Now... I'll skip to the present...
Here are some photos I've taken recently-
Hopefully I'll stay on top of this and have more in the future...
I just received a large shipment of stuff so I'll start taking photos of those things soon too (hopefully).

My neon orange cycloseris...

Looking good. Glad that the scrub down before the move help out with the hair algae issue.

Moving the tank sucked- I dread the next time... It's so stressful and time intensive!
Fortunately I had some great help, NFMAS pulled through! Thanks again Ron & Greg!
And looking back, it was probably the best thing I could have done for the tank. I wish I had photos of just before. The hair algae had gotten so bad that it killed a few of nice pieces of coral.
There's still a little inside my birds nest- DEEP inside (there's also grape caulpera growing in it.. I've taken it out and tried to do some surgery to basically hollow out the inside of the colony to remove all of the algea.
It's a nice size right now but I might break it in two to clean it out because it might be the healthiest thing for it in the long run.
