Initial Design:
My 20 tall prop tank was crowded and there was no room to reintroduce frags back into the 180 system, so I decided to create a SPS dominate, bare bottom system without MH lighting. We had a 55 and 75 available, but with a 90 / 180 already running I wanted to try and stay small (time will tell haha)...
I'm a firm believer in trading and a lot of the stuff we have traded has come back in the form of free or inexpensive items that were needed to make the system come alive. Basically, the lighting was the only thing I spent major bucks on (I normally buy "middle/high", so hopefully the cheaper lights don't disappoint me later).
I originally had a SEIO 1500 in the system (which pushed the flow rate to 100X

), but decided to pull it when I lost my Foxface... A new fish will be purchased soon.

Initial thoughts:
Parameters are good...
I've read where colors change to pastels in a T5 system. This seems apparent with the 40, but I like the lower heat and clean, open look.
I do know that the tri color corals will " look M-a-r-v-e-l-o-u-s "...
I will post pictures later tonight or tomorrow. Enjoy!
