Thanks Duud !!!

The new macro lens really helps. Of course, Spot (the foxface) thought it was getting fed... haha

Although I didn't get the sizing right on the "after" shot, you can definitely see growth on most of the corals. On the flip side, you can see some of the corals have lost their color. I expect to replace a few bulbs next month.

Looks good, I like the increased height of the rockwork. I wonder if the color loss is due to the lighting or the bare bottom/lack of nutrients? It would be interesting to see you add a remote sandbed after a few months of barebottom to see if there is a noticeable difference.

Thanks guys!

Jason, good point. I know others are getting the colors running BB... I'm not very patient (huh ??? haha), but am willing to ride this out for a few more months prior to adding sand. I have an opportunity to try out the Giesman (sp?) bulbs, so I plan on that next.

Looking good and lots of growth. I may reconsider my anti T5 and BB rhetoric for sps.

Thanks Jason! The jig's not up yet on the lighting, but the colors have improved... If I were to do it all over again, I would have spent the money and bought the Tek series.

Thanks Paul!

I think it's the same piece (ORA Hyacinth ?) as in the pic (coral on left) below, but mounted high in the tank. I read a thread about the different colorations on RC and had to give it a whirl...
