the skimmer and stand

well things are moving along again at what seems like a snails pace mabe someday this tank may have water in it. i have been looking all over for what skimmer i would use on this setup and i think that besides what kind of light to use the debate on which skimmer is best and why seems to get quite heated. i did a lot of checking around and this pm skimmer is what i ended up with. the drawbacks are supposed to be weekly cleaning required because the beckett gets cloged which to me seems like a normal maint item, and a large pump. i will drive it with a gen-x pcx 40 which acording to the guys at pm is the max this skimmer can handle. i am driving it so hard because it is only rated to a 150 gal max so i am close to its max. do not believe this is one of those skimmers that need to be double the rated capasity, althought thats peoples general rule. it fits in the sump quite nicely and now i am working on the sump plumbing. i built a little stand from some scrap stuff i had laying around, just to learn on and it came out ok. the laminate blade on my circular saw cut good i just need to work out a jig to cut more strait because it is not...
