This tank has a built in overflow and filtration but im unsure how to plumb it correctly.

All of our fish are named after Cowboy Bebop people. So the puffer is Spike the Clown is ED and the Tang was Ein.

Heres a pic of that overflow filter system if you know how to plumb this thing let me know.

Sorry for the flash in the pics not my camera couldnt fig out how to turn off the flash.

Xenia is not doing good its not pumping and the Devils hand is slumped over.
Not sure whats wrong maybe i didnt wait long enough before i added corals. I dont have a lot of coraline algae growth on the rocks yet.
The tank has 260 watts of PC light 2 50/50 2 actinic (thanks Wayne) Its a 30 gallon and the lights are 48 inches long so not all of the light is getting into the tank it will be upgraded to 400w mh once i build something to hold the pendant over the tank. I had a aquaclear and a skilter filter for filtaration and water movement that has been changed first i got rid of the skilter (because they suck) and added a gavity fed 2.5 gal fuge. Yesterday I added a Remora skimmer powered by a Maxi jet 1200 (thanks Jan) and pulled the aqua clear.

params:
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
Ammonia 0
Cal 450 ppm
Alk? I forgot to write it down

I know the xenia can either grow like a weed or just not work in your tank but the leather is what im worried about its wilting and has not extened polyps since i brought it home also its flaking I blow it with a power head once a day to keep algae from settling on it.

Any sugestions or tips on what i am doing wrong. Pics will be posted tonight.

Hey I found a pic of our tank in Cocoa Beach top center is on of the 3 sharks. This tank is awesome you have to climb in and scrub the coral. (Which isn’t awesome at all) It has a breather and hose that can reach anywhere in the tank so no need to hold your breath. If you are in the area its worth the side trip. It’s at Cocoa Beach Surf Company, which is right next to Ron Johns Surf Shop. You can literally follow the billboards on I95.
