once upon a time.. Gregt started up a Nano contest...some really nice prizes were offered adn a bunch of us signed up...
i managed to get a hold of 2 ten gallon tanks and one was drilled witha durso over flow all ready.
i did not have to do much to it since it had come from a LFS and was used in the coral section.
i used one for a sump..the total cost of the nano so far was a big 7$

started the cabinet for it..
ended up withthe doors off. easier to get to everything..
oh i forgot... the cost to this point was onlu 4.99$!!!!!!!
but i did not get the lighting for it or the pump yet. the pump ended up being a mag 5. the mag 12 i had was ..shall we say ...ummm a bit much....
so i ordered the mag 5 and a quad 50/50 pc from one of our sponors.. tell ya what they sure know how to take care of us!

just when i thought i had enough tanks.. i get a phone call asking if i wanted a 100 gallon tank..let me think on that......... daaaa yes.... so in came a 100 gallon. but something di not look right with it. after taking measurements and using gregt's cal. on his website i found out that it is only a 70 gallon... but was free!
so that got set up at the same time!
well finally got water in to the nano after what seemed to be forever!

then things started to not go good with the nano..
i picked up a mushroom rock fromthe over priced LFS and got soooo taken it was not funny. none of them actaully lived .. it looks like they were goingout the door before i got them..
then i decided to do a species tank of just colt coral..
order 3 nice looking frags and the melted down with a few days.. the place said they would send more if i wanted them, but idecided that holding off for now would be better. but they did send some nice purple Zoa's..
I added a Bicolor blenny to the tanks and stopped there, it turned out the lights werer heating thetank up a bit when they were on. so i had to raise them up a bit.

well added more life to the Nano tank,
pictures are in the nano build off , i will move them here when i can.
addeda nice looking leather coral. very pretty, and two orange/yellow skunk clowns. the larger of the two has already hosted with green mushrooms in tank. althoght the mushrooms are a bit small right now, he/she loves them. since i have added the skunks to the tank the bi color blenny has come out a lot more.
