Filter Tank

Finished the Acrylic Filter tank today. For a 700 gallon/hr pump with 1 inch apart baffles and a 300 gallon/hr pump on the protein skimmer. Will post pics of water test in a few weeks.

D.I.Y Stand

Stand is complete although I'm going to have to re-do the lid as I didn't realise Metal Hallides got so hot and they haveto be elevated off the tank

New DIY Hood with inbuilt extraction fans

Here are some pics of the new DIY hood I recently finished

The extraction fans automatically turn on when the temperature gets to 30 degrees C inside the hood

Also used the router to cut some air vents along the top.

The whole thing is on hinges so that on hot days i can just un cover the thing all together quite easily

Sump finished

Finally finished the sump.

All the mod cons are in including the auto-top up system
