UPDATE 20 LONG: 08-16-06 Yesterday I started my DIY stand. I have most of the frame finished. I am going to start sanding and filling screw holes this weekend. Today I picked some fittings: Ballvalve, Tee, etc. I also have all my line loc fittings. I am still missing one 1/2" bulkhead fitting.

UPDATE 20 LONG: 08-18-06 Today I worked on my stand for a few hours. I sanded and filled the screw counter sinks I put it. I have a few more hours of sanding before I can start painting the frame. I will post 2 pics from tonight. One has the all mighty stand LOl. The other is all equipment so far. 20 Long drilled and a 1.5 gallon Kalk box.

UPDATE 20 LONG: 08-21-06 Today I bought some of my plumbing things. I have started testing some fitings. I bought a 10 gallon aquarium for the sump. I am going to have to put the Kalk box on top on the sump now. I measured some skimmers and I had to take out the shelf in order for the skimmer to fit well.

UPDATE 75RR: 08-23-06 Last night I bought a used 75RR with a stand and canopy. I came with 4 pc lights and a bad ballast. I need to repaint the stand and get a sump and a new ballast so I can fire it up.

UPDATE 75RR: 08-26-06 I painted the stand doors but they turned out a different shade. So I need to repaint them. While I am doing that I am going to repaint the canopy. Today I bought my 30 gallon for a sump. I am going to put the baffels in this weekend and I will post pics.

UPDATE 75RR: 08-28-06 Today Xoas and I built my 30L sump. We went to Home Depot and bought the acrylic and started to work. It took some time to figure out the math. But I think we got it. Tomorrow I will test the sump with water to see if it's ready. If it is, then I am going to trim the silly cone and make it look pretty. Then off to another project to get her up and running.

UPDATE 75RR: 08-29-06 Today I filled both sides with water. So far nothing has made it's way into the center chamber. I also ordered my skimmer. WOOOOOOOT!!!!!!!!!! It's a MRC MR1. It should be here within 7-14 days.
