new to saltwater and this site

Hi! My name is Chuck. I would like to introduce myself to everyone and hopefully meet some friends who share the same love for this hobby as i do. I am new to it so i am hopeing to learn a few things from everyone. I had a 120 gallon african cichlid tank, but that got boring fast. I woke up at 3 in the morning to it leaking on my floor. So now I am starting over from scratch with a brand new tank and equipment. Sticking with the 120 gallon 4 footer. I love all of the bright colors so i am gonna go with a reef and fish tank. My main goal with this one is to keep the look clean. All of the equipment out of sight. Well I am looking foward to chatting with everyone and making friends.

40 gallon euro style acrylic sump
ets 600 skimmer
custom light
-3 250w mh
-2 actinic fluorecent lamps
-1 red compact for night viewing
-1 blue compact for moonlight
1/3 hp aqua logistics chiller

Scored all this equipment, all in good shape but the chiller, for $400

I am in the process of getting the rest
new 120g 4x2x2 tank
2 iwaki pumps 1200gph
computer controller for tank so i can check in and control it from my iphone (overboard, but **** cool for going away)
I scored a deal of $200 for 100lbs of used figi rock and i am trying to locate some REALLY white sugar grain sand. Anyone have experience with this sand? if so please fill me in.
