Tank Equipment
TANK: 300 gallon IA- glass.
Starphire glass on 3 sides
SUMP: 100 gallon Barr Aquatic Systems- acrylic
REFUGIUM: 75 Gallon- fed by a Mag 9- gravity return to sump
RETURN PUMP: Ampmaster 3000
SKIMMER: Barr Aquatics SK 4200- driven by an Iwaki 100- 2000 gph
CLOSED LOOP: Ampmaster 3000 going to 4 3/4" Sea Swirls
CLOSED LOOP: Little Giant 4 going to 3 3/4" outlets behind live rock
Tank has an open top, and is in the basement. There are windows behind the tank so I haven't vented anything. I have at times had heat issues in the summer, but I use fans on the sump and the refuge, sometimes 24/7, and that seems to help alot.
