Where to get heavy duty Rubbermaid "tanks"
Anyone know where in town I can get the heavy duty gray rubbermaid bins/tanks that people use for sumps? I Don't need a huge one so if the price is decent I'd like to pick one up for a temporary sump while I build my own.

Got a local tractor supplies store? I know they can special order all the rubbermaid feeding/ water troughs. If it is a temp, might just be able to use the standard rubbermaid containers big lots, dollar store, walmart etc.

tlgreve - I did that last time I moved and the sides bowed out pretty far. But if the stock tanks are too $$ then that might be the only option.
Louise - Thanks, I'll check them out.

I think I bought my last one at circle K feed store. It was the strong dark grey style. They have a threaded drain plug at the bottom.

Tractor Supply sells two brands of tubs. The Rubbermaid one which is a heavy duty plastic and the Tuff Stuff brand tubs. The Tuff Stuff tubs are half the cost of the Rubbermaid. They are a little more flexible than the Rubbermaids but they are really durable.

If you went the cheaper route and were worried about the bowing, you could double them up too and that would probably take care of it (the ones from WalMart, BigLots, etc)

I got a 42" one from HD and the bowing isn't too bad because at that length, I don't need to fill it very full to get a good amount of water in it. Thanks guys.
