Question

time for new bulbs


Hello all,well its time to replace my pc bulbs.Just wondering if I should stay with 2 -14k 65watt,and 2-65watt tru attinic bulbs,or should i try 10k bulbs.My reef is a 75gal,20gal sump ,fuge,skimmer,ect.,as far as my corals I,ve got some soft corals,zoas,frogspawn,xenia,star pollyps,shrooms,cup coral,and a sunflower coral.Any help ,insite on my replacement bulbs would be great.thanks all have a great weekend....mike

I would bite the wallet and go with the PFO VHO's and get better color and more wts. per bulb and when it comes time to replace the bulbs it's less money out of your pocket. The 4 bulb set-up is a top notch set-up and you will have 440wts. instead of 260wts. and the bulbs don't cost you as much. JMO

why not t5's instead? They don't have to be replaced as often and the bulbs are very cheap.

I would go with 10k's. You already have plenty of actinic. You should get better growth.
