The Yellow Eye Kole is one of the best working tangs you can put in a reef tank IMO and they are not as prone to ick as many others. I wont have a tank with out one !

My Yellow Eye Kole Tang is a definite rock picker and a great addition to the tank. It is cool to watch her swim around and "peck" at spots on the rock. You may not even see any algae growing there, but she knows it is enough to eat.

Busted! But that's probably the best choice for a tang in that sized tank. Good luck with it!

Congrats on your new Tang. Now, of course, it is time for you to post a picture of the little thing. I already showed everyone mine.

That is way too cute and actually I would love to be able to get most of my fish at that size to start them out. You should be able to keep him for quite a while in your 40.

That's a good name for him...
I was going to call him Tiny, then I showed him to our daughter (who has named all the fish - haha) and she said Swirly (cause he was going around in circles in the bag)...
BOOGER it is!!!
