Relocating maybe
So the wife and I have been looking at relocating and initially we were thinking western US, but a friend of ours has turned us on to the St. Augustine area. I was just currious if anyone had any thought on the area? This wouldn't be for another couple years while we button things up here, but the real estate looked good and rumor was that the job market wasn't too bad.
Thanks for any info

St Augustine is a beautiful place to live. I'm in Jacksonville and work in St johns co (St.Augustine). It's definately a buyers market right now. I don't know what field your in but as long as it isn't construction I think the job market is OK.
Plus you could them join NFMAS too!!

I lived there before moving to Jacksonville. As Kim said, awesomely beautiful place to live. Anastasia island is where I was. Not sure about the job market because I haven't lived there for about 5 years now. Depends on your job too.

What?!?!? You should be considering the Bay Area. As in Galveston Bay.

I am in St. Augustine and we moved here to get away from Jacksonville. We really enjoy being away from all the hustle and bustle of Jax but know that if we need something its not far to drive too.

Thanks for the input. So far its looking like we are going to take a trip this year and see what there is to see And I'm majoring in IT management with a minor in business. I'm trying to get out of the field I'm currently in
Everyone in the reef club seems very nice and that is a big plus!

I didnt make any hurricane comments. And Houston has great housing prices, some of the best in the country!

Its a nice area. Just remember that you no longer will be able to look out and see a mountian or hill for that fact. Being from the northwest that is one thing I dislike about Florida.

Very true... I've been to Florida a few times for various reasons and liked what I saw, although I had only been to larger cities and I'm a small town person. 80K max. I like living in a 15K town now, but all the amenities are just down the road if I need something.
It's still a ways off, but I'm rather excited at the prospect. It is definitely a time for a switch as I lived here my whole life

Every one seems great... Although my wife rolls her eyes since I'm so addicted now and there is no club... She is afraid I'll need therapy if there are more people and clubs I can talk to

Just watch out for that Hikk guy, I hear he is Dumm sometimes
I can't compare it to other clubs because it is the only one I have ever been in, but this one - for me - is very helpful, friendly and awesome.
