I have been happy with my Jr.
Aquacontroller 3 has some really cool features, but I couldn't make myself pay that much more for the extra bells and whistles.

All of the above.
The only downside that I've found is that you can only run a dc-8 and a dc-4, for a total of 12 plugs on the Jr.. I think you can run 3 dc-8's on the Aquacontroller 3 for a total of 24 plugs.

Running an AC-3 with no complaints. Good control over the tank and through a PC, also can access the controller from anywhere with Internet connection.

I have both the Reefkeeper and the Reefkeeper 2. Only issue with them is that they do not hook up to your computer. They have set up a program for the Reefkeeper 2 to be connected to your computer but the information provided from the Reefkeeper 2 is not as complete as some of the other comtrollers offering computer connection. If the computer monitering is not an issue for you I highly recommend the ReefKeeper 2.

Anyone else have opinions on this? I'm really only deciding between the AC Jr. and the ReefKeeper II due to cost. It seems the ReefKeeper II is more user friendly while the AC Jr. is more adaptable / expandable. Has anyone had hands on experience with both of these units?

I have the RK II and love it. It does everything I needed it to do.
I was also looking at the AC Jr.. It was a decision between those two and the RK II won due to looks and simplicity.

I decided to go with the AC3. I got in on a group buy for a reduced price and am waiting for it to ship. Almost time to get started on my stand and canopy for my upgrade.
