Preventive dip for inverts?

Ok, Just picked up some trochus snails. I wondered if anyone has any recommendations for a dip that is "snail safe". After a few members getting pests from snails a while back, I want to take zero chances. I do have some tropic marin pro coral cure, but I wonder how safe it is on inverts.

Paul, Teach can probably elaborate, but we use Tropic Marin on all non-SPS (minus clams). We predominantly use the Revive dip on SPS (stuff is strong, so for smooth corals we either use in low dosage or TM in it's place)...

We started this process when we got redbugs from a yuma colony.

I know that interceptor is snail safe. Not sure about tropicmarin or revive. Do you have acros yet Paul? If so, lets see em!

Interceptor should be fine with the snails. It only kills crabs and shrimp, and of course most pests. Just wondering, what came in on the snails? LFS or shipped snails

No acros yet, but in a couple of weeks! I plan on getting a "sacrificial frag" to see how it does in the tank.

Jake,

The snails I purchased came from a lfs. It is no secret that the lfs has the harmless planaria flatworms living in the tank that these came from. I decided to do a very, very thorough inspection of each snail and added a couple of drops of flatworm exit that I found in my fish closet. I knew being a pack rat would have its advantages

Hmm.. I recently set up a QT tank for acros, etc.. but have not thought of treatment for snails. Glad I saw this tread. I want to make sure I am 'covered" to best of my ability, especially when looking at giving / trading frags. I want to be sure I am not passing along any pests.

Is there any concerns with shrimp / crabs as well? Anything else I may not be thinking of? I was already wondering about marco algae -if that is a concern.
