Pics From my trip to Nassau

We went to this reef that was in the channel. IMO I thought that the reef was pretty much dead from all the tourists that dive on it and damage the corals with their fins and by touching and stepping on it. I took the pics with an 10 dollar underwater 35mm camera.

Nassau is an alright place to visit, but you're right a lot of the reefs near there have been damaged. There are some great diving spots in the Bahamas, just a little further from the "beaten" path, literally.....

Still a visit anywhere in the Bahamas is always fun!! Rum, breakfast, dive, more rum, lunch, more rum some snorkeling, more rum....

Did you get to go to Atlantis on Paradise Island(across the bridge).....Their tanks are unbelievable!! Plus the waterpark has a waterslide that goes through a Shark Tank...pretty cool to say the least.

400 for the ticket. bring another 500 to drink, and shop and another 200 to gamble. Drinks were a rip off on the boat. 4 beers for 15 bucks. once at port you can get booze cheap such as a liter of black label for 22 bucks. Its all you can eat for free but they charge 10 bucks a day for tips and its 50 bucks to park your car. Lots of hidden fees but not near as expensive as other trips. The ship docks about 5 miles away from atlantis. I didnt go because I kept hearing everyone talk about the place and I didnt want to have to spend any more time with the people that I was stuck on the ship with. I was also told that carnival will not be staying a full day/night in port after our cruise, you might want to check up on that because if its true then no going to atlantis at night, which is supposed to be the best time to go
