I saw it on the beach on the 4th last year. Not bad. Get telephoto and you'll enjoy some nice shots. I got my camera on the "running man" setting and took about 100 shots as it went up.

This is a discussion going on in the ORCA forum. Maybe someone there can help you.

I don't recall. I was from out of town, and headed towards Kennedy, but stayed on the road that would take me to Ron Jon. Before you make the sweeping right turn there are tons of spots on the left side of the road. There was a bridge that I was just over. Basically find a map of Kennedy and surrounding and look at all the water and all the roads. Usually you can find parking and seating. It was very friendly when I went. There is even a dog/soda vendor at the first place I talked about.

Not sure about places to park and view but I read an article on News4Jax website this morning that said there was a education conference in Orlando that just rapped up yesterday and most of those people would probably be staying to watch the launch because there is a teacher-astronaut on this flight. I'm sure it's going to be packed.

I was working on I-4 a few years ago. Somewhere around the Sanford exit, right in front the RV dealer. Pretty good visual of the shuttle. I would think anywhere along I-95, south of Daytona would work.
