Brian, goto the flea market on beach across from the salvation army. There is a guy that sells puppies there on the east side of the market. Offer 75- 100 less than he asks. We got our pekingese there and he turned out better looking than the other pekengise we got and his father was a showdog. You also get a free vet visit, booster shots , etc and all his dogs come with AKC/CKC papers

Don't buy one...get one from a rescue  there are always plenty up for adoption around town.
Here is the chih. rescue site...there is an adoption fee to help with the care of the animals...but I've always found that adopted dogs know they have it good and appreciate you ...

Yes she is right get one from the Humane society or pound. I was just donating some stuff at the Mandarin pound and they had a tiny chihuahua in the kitten cages. Too cute and a lot cheaper than the $500 stores want. People get them for gifts and then find out they cant keep them, believe it or not they do show up regularly at the pound and shelters. I would get a Yorkie anyday over a chihuahua cause they are so much smarter than the chi's, but that is just my opinion/experience.
