Oceans Motions?
Has anyone around here used one of these?

I really wish there were some other companies that made things like these because they are very expensive. $340 for that thing.

I think mbdave has a OM squirt, but I think pjhaddock and goldstripe have 4-ways. Very nice products from what I have seen.
Both the wavy sea and 4-way have pros and cons. The wavy sea would be a much easier and cheaper install, but the 4-way gives you alot more options for current variations. I think the state of the tank, being drilled for a closed loop or not, would be a major factor in the decision between the two.

doesn't the wavy sea just move a powerhead? I really need something for a closed loop like the 4 or 8 way. Im gonna be drilling the back of the tank and just wanted to run a sequence dart pump. Does anyone have a link to the wavy sea so i can see what it looks like?

well i found the web page for them. It looks like with the idea I have, if I was going to use a wavey sea for my closed loop i would have to use 4 of them. I was planning on drilling 2 holes in the back that Y'ed together into the Dart and then split into 4 leaving the dart and each outlet going to a corner of the tank. I needed something like the 4 way so that I could alternate the current between the 4 outlets. The wavy sea also looks just like a sea swirl, http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewIt...product=AU1117. What is the diff between the 2 other than they are made by seperate companies?

I think sea swirls turns 90 degrees, whereas, the wavy sea does 180 degrees of more.

Wavy Sea will go from 0 degree to 360 degrees & has a variable speed control. Can be used with a powerhead or an attached pump

For what im doing with the closed loop, the wavy seas would cost me $1000 since I would need 4 of them.
