New question Wow Saltwater is crazy

I just notice in my tank a spiny long grey worm looking thing wedged in one of my rocks?????? ALSO i found a star fish never before seen to me. A small clear starfish it looks like red striped (or spots) around the legs? I wish i could include a picture but I'm hoping this description will work. Are this unwanted or wanted guests?

matt welcome to the saltwater hobby. I don't know the answer to your question but stayed tuned I'm sure someone will come thru for you...Is there anyway you can get a picture of what your talking about and post it?

The worm and the star fish probably came with your live rock. Very normal. Live rock is something special, you never know what is on it.

Picture

I figured it out the images were to big so i cropped em the starfish is in the picture of plant. Also are the marks on the top of Omen's Head (th Clown) something to worry about or just marks?

they pic is not so clear, but most likely it is some kind of brittle starfish. As far as I know you only one you don't want in a reef tank is the green brittle star.
