Nice job! What are you going to stock it with? I have a large crab I'm going to evict by Saturday... do you want him? LOL ... just kidding.

I would be afraid of ruining the finish on the nice cabinet.

Actually I think Troy's setup is awsome. It is very original in the sense that he made everything for the setup instead of buying it prepackaged like some reefers do (nanocubes, aquapods, etc.). IMO this shows a lot more originality and imagination. Also his stacking is awesome, very uniformly shaped with room for corals. I am sure this pico is going to be sweet just like his other reefs were. In short Nik. he has paid his dues which is something you might want to think about trying. Just my $.02.

well it would say it looks pretty nice for not having any lights on it yet. not bad thats for sure!

Paid his dues? What does that mean? Is this the local hazing club? You sure havent paid your dues to the club by just working for a LFS, have you? Nor have you paid your dues by posting more than me or even giving out correct information. I saw you were off by quite a bit on your lumen readings for 250w vs 400w halides. Ive been on RC in the club section as long as you, so what are you actually refering too?

Very cool set up there....Are you using the $20 pc worklight from home depot?? I'm using one that's 13w 6300k on my 10g fuge. Thought it was worth trying out....

Nik. you mention me being wrong about my lumens, but was my advise still sound? Of course it was. I had the ratio of difference in lumens correct but my numbers were infalted. It was nice of Rob to correct me. I know when I was in the store surrounded by books my details were always more accurate.

Paying your dues means respecting people with more experience and debating only with the object of learning. I think you debate to read what you write, but that is just my opinion.

if i did that, i could just open up a blog or txt file and just type away. I respect people with more experience if we are talking about something that they have more experience in.
