LF: Unfinished Doors for 75g Stand

Does anyone know of any local companies that sell unfinished doors? Particularly the raised faced, Oak, Maple, Birch, Pine. The wood type doesn't really matter, but I'm looking for 2 doors 18wx30h. I've found a good website where I can purchase these doors for 17.00 a piece but shipping is going to cost more than a door. Also, I would get the choice of basic square style raised face, Eyebrow arch, or Cathedral Arch.

Can anyone point me into a right direction for local places? I've check home depot and they no longer carry these , but haven't looked into Ace or Lowes yet....

Thank you,
Chris

Can't help with the doors Chris but wow....You are not just spinning your wheels are you? You are working hard to get this 75G up and running. Moving fast at this point is fine but remember to slow down once the tank has water in it and take your time building the reef of your dreams.

If I can help with anything, Let me know.

Yeh, the stand has actually been in the process for the past month. At first, it was for the 65g, but only had to modify it slightly to incorporate the 75. Nothing better to do at work on those slow Weds and Thursdays than to goof off with your boss and draw up new plans and ideas for furniture.

As of today I'm on the final blueprints of the stand. It's about my 10th different design. This one will be built entirely of furniture grade 3/4" oak or birch plywood with a 2x2 frame for added support. I'm going to butterfly cut and rabbit ear the entire stand with the exception of the actual frame. Also, I've planned it out to be able to include doors on the sides in the future if I wish, with shelving on both sides.

This stand will be a long project but I've have 3 different blueprints I've finalized for this and also have made two variations of plans for my 4x8 sheet cut. I can get everything I need out of 1 4x8 sheet.

Once the stand is complete I will slow down extremely fast as I did with the 29g. I'm planning on getting about 60 more lbs of non-live sand and seeding it with about 10-20 lbs of sand from the 29. Also, I plan on adding about 25-30 lbs of lace rock and seeding the rock with about 1/2 my live rock in the 29. At that point I will just sit back and allow the tank a couple of months to establish itself before doing anything else. Although once the initial cycling is completed I may added a few inverts for cleaning purposes.

I do not plan on doing much with this tank for at least the first 6 months because I want make sure the parameters are stable and want the tank established to ensure I won't have to many problems. I do know problems will arise and i'll be asking so many newbie questions like I always do, but I know the end result will be whatever I wish......
