I am a Daddy

Well it finally happened, my Onyx Percs spawned. The little male is tending his little nest and the female is bullying everyone including me. I will try to get some pics tonight. Nest is orange, about the size of a quarter, and directly above their rose anemone. I am so excited, I have been waiting for this for almost 3 yrs.

Hi Ben,

Good luck on raising them if you try. They will hatch in 6 days and will be turning from orange to green within a day or two. My gold stripes have been having eggs since this past summer.

They are probably going to end up coral food, but it is so cool to see behavior like this especially in a smaller tank (25gal).
