Laughable NIk? Look at the schedule on the whole. Apart from that. Lets see, you played:
Bowling Green --4-8
Indiana---------5-7
Iowa-----------6-7
Northwestern---4-8
Illinois----------2-10
Just to name a few.
Take a look at the site above.

Ohio State------------------------73.07 Ranked 38th
Boise State-----------------------65.92 Ranked 90th
Florida 41- Ohio State 14

You only posted one of our out of conference games. We also destroyed cincy and they beat rutgers. We kicked Texas's butt too. Your just lucky you played us 51 days after the michigan game. I hope for a playoff one day.

Oh boy the 51 day excuse. you forget we were off 32 or so days. its the National Championship. If you cannot get healthy and up for that game and be coached to do so, you got problems! I read tressels comments and so many others. Ohio State would not have an answer 51 days or 1 day. People just cannot believe Florida is that good of a team. Well I hope 41-14 shows something. A total of what was it, 82 or 84 offensive yards for ohio state to me it just about domination. There are not too many teams that could hold them to soo little yards and get to troy smith and sack and rattle him as the Florida defensive front did. Everyone thought Michigan was the other major powerhouse until USC dominated them. Ucla beat USC and FSU just dominated UCLA all in just a matter of weeks. Go figure.
I, for one, am looking forward to this new recruiting class. Urban Meyer showed his great caoching skills and he is proving to be a big time recruiter as well.

and wisconsin whipped on the 2nd ranked team in the SEC pretty good. PSU also whipped on tennessee.
After michigan lost to OSU, what reasoning would they have to play as good as they were?
BTW wisconsin got dominated by Michigan...
PSU got dominated by Notre Dame and OSU.
I am more of a believer that the heisman hype, beating two 2nd ranked teams in 1 year, and people labeling you as one of the best teams ever got to OSU over the 51 days. Its not really the layoff but everything that happened in that time. I really think the heisman should be done after the bowl games...
In the 6 years Tressel has been at OSU, they have the only 14-0 record in history, they are the only team to beat two number 2 teams in 1 year, they have 1 NC and went to another, they are 5-1 vs Michigan, they are 3-1 in BCS games, and they have had 1 heisman winner.

Very Good Pat. I am with you. We won. The excuses go on and on. Ohio State is a good school, have played good teams, so has Florida. WHo can discount USC. They have dominated for some time as well. Bottom line, everyone thought OSU would dominate Florida and just exactly the opposite happend. Florida beat OSU in Basketball and stomped them in Football. nIK, YOU CALLED FOR JUST THE OPPOSITE SEVERAL TIMES. You never mentioned the layoff, the heiman timing, the schedule, others schedule, until your team had a total until your team lost. We could go on forever about what ifs. Bottom line is the outcome, no matter how its reached.

Right now I think OSU has more talented players that don't play as a team. I think florida has a great group of players that are very good at playing as a team together, especially when it counts. I am really looking forward to the tourney and I hope our team acts more like a team instead of a bunch of individuals by then.
