Free Fish

Ok I have a few fish that I got in a recent deal and I would like for them to go to a good home.

paddlefin wrasse
Lemon damsel
purple damsel

I have the lemon damsel in my reef now and he has not touched any corals. He was however really violent for the first few days that he was in the tank. Now he is pretty much the boss and the other fish know it.I wouldnt mind keeping him,but he not on my list for fish that I want to keep in my tank.

Thae purple damsel and the wrasse are both in my sump. The wrasse is not ref safe, and the purple is just as mean as the lemon just larger, which is why he is in the sump.

If anybody wants them all just let me know. I would prefer they all went to the same person as I dont want to get stuck with any of them, but I wont be choosy.

If my tanks weren't in the middle of being broken down to move them I would take tham as one of them is going to end up a fish only tank. I just don't have anywhere to keep them right now

I need to call you tomorrow to talk to you about some things though.

I think the key issue for 2 of the 3 fish is the word "damsel".

As for the wrasse, they appear to be reef safe, just not invert safe. Or safe for any fish that might fit in its mouth.

The wrasse is also known as the Cortez Rainbow Wrasse is very colorful.

Good luck in finding homes.

The wrasse is awesome in color, but like you said they are not invert safe.Which would rule out putting them in a reef tank.I have yet to see a reef tank without any inverts.I wonder why they would consider them reef safe, when we have inverts in our systems?

As for the damsels, well yes they are mean little buggers. To be honest the lemon damsel stopped harrassing the other fish in the tank after a couple of days.I guess he just wanted to make his presence known. They are all living in harmony now.I would keep it if I knew I was getting a bigger tank. I am tempted to put the other fish in my dt to see how they act.As of right now I only have a few crabs and no snails.

They would be a nice addition to my fish only tank if you haven't gotten rid of them already. I'd be willing to throw you some bones too. I don't ask for handouts but I appreciate it!
