Dolphin Pump in line pump
I need help with a old Dolphin pump. I have had it for 6 years. Never been used. I need to find information on it so I know the GPH. It is all red with the front and back having a black color cap. Here is the following information on it if any one has information a manual on it or knows where I can locate one I would appreciate it. I have set up a new 180 gallon reef system and transfered everything from my other tank and I need a larger pump to run separate from my chiller.
Model # sm-1212-nhw-21 1"
part # 6341.9
serial #736214
max fluid temp 140F
max Presure 50PSI
1/15 HP
3400 RPM
140 watt
1.3 AMP
8.5UF
115 v 1p 60 HZ
Maybe someone can figure out gph from this information???
Thanks

Does it look like this ?
If so it was a popular pump and still is for spa's here is the specs on it.
| SM-1212-NH-21-1" (115) | 1"barb | 1"barb | 115v | 140w | 1.3 amp | 18gpm |
Which I'm not to sure I would feel safe using it for long since most pumps for saltwater use have special seals. But as far as flow rate it looks like it will put out 1080 at 0 head.

Same color as mine but the details are wrong. It isn't the same pump. I don't believe it to be the same maker either...
Thanks

After looking at the pump picture it isn't the same design at all. I got this online at a popular saltwater company.
Thanks..
Anyone else own one of these??????

If that is in fact a Dolphin external pump... they are based in Pensacola and very friendly.

I have been using dolphin pumps for a long time but I do not recall any with a red housing (not that it does not exist).

I got out the glasses and see that it was made in 12/1999. lol
So it was awhile back. Looks new still. It is something that I never
hooked it up. I forgot I even had it until today. I called them and left them a message this afternoon but haven't had anyone call me back. I will try to take a picture of it and put it on here.
