diy sock holder

I decided to be cheap and not buy a filter sock holder and was able to find a diy for one. Also wasn't sure the ones I saw for sale would be small enough to fit in my sump with the skimmer. I think this is going to work pretty well.

Be careful that when the sock starts to clog that the weight of the water in the sock does not put too much stress on the side of your sump.

I don't think that it will be a problem the walls of the sump are pretty thick, 5/8" I think. What do you think Robert?

I would'nt worry about the aqylic cracking, it's 3/8". But I hope the PVC glue holds up well on the joints !!
