I came across something last week that may be relavent. We had a computer lcd screen plugged into a surge protector with a battery backup. The monitor kept turning off every few seconds. There were 5 other things plugged into the same surge. Plugged the screen into the wall on the advice of the screen manufacturer and the problem went away because the surge protector was not putting out a stable current.

thanks for that info! We are checking that out, because we did use the same surge protector with all 3 bulbs/fixtures.
So it makes sense.

So if thats the problem, then are there better quality strips? Def need to figure the issue out since are now using it on the 180 lighting, and thats an easy fix.
