cheap lighting

Has anyone ever used this lighting company. We saw them at macna and their bulbs are like half the price, asked why they said they cut out the middle man, now I just want to know something about the quality.

There is a huge thread titled cheap ebay bulbs on reef central. The reef optix bulbs got some good reviews. I doubt they are going to be the same quality as some european bulbs though.

Yeah I took a look at the gallery on their website and the tanks look good, but a lot of them are dominantly softies. I'm looking to replace my bulb now cause I splashed water on it during a water change and cracked it , unfortunately I'd only had it for about two months. I was running a reflux 14k and was happy so I'll probably go with that again.

I am a big fan of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". With bulbs and sps especially. Of course, I am still in the process of trying to find the bulb that I like best. I am leaning towards the helios 20k which is an inexpensive asian bulb that is marketed by commodity axis for a big price. Interestingly, the ushio 20k hqi is definately better made, but gets about the same color as the currentusa 14khqi.
