Change the meeting time back to 3-6?
I feel that 3-6 was a better time to meet. 5-8pm on a saturday night is too late for me and other members to attend. Factor in travel time that gets most of us back home around 9-10pm. We all live on different sides of town. A meeting at robs will take all of my saturday night and a meeting at Bio or atlantis will do the same for our westside members. I know the time was changed so LFS owners can attend meetings which they have not besides John and Jack who attend on a regular basis regardless of time. What do you think 3-6 or 5-8?

How about 4-7. It's hard sometimes to fit in the 3pm start time and still do things with the family in the morning/early afternoon.

I like the 3-6. I have a life besides the reef tank. 3-6 gives you time before and after the meeting.

Didn't we change it in the first place to accomodate fish store owners that were interested in making meetings?

I like the idea of 4-7 personally. As most of you know, We have two little girls and getting home at 9-10PM is hard on the girls because we have to leave the meeting and then go get them from the sitters before going home. Last month we were very late because the meeting went on late.
I know this month there is talk of it being late as well because one of our members has spoken to me about us all moving to his house for an after meeting meeting.

Any time if fine by me, but if I had to choose, I like 4-7 as well.

I kind of like the 3 to 6 time frame. It gives you more time to acclimate all the items you buy from the LFS when you get home.

As a business owner it is harder for us to accomidate when we have the meetings during our regular business hours. I personally like the 5 - 8 because it only cuts in to 1 hour of my regular hours. As far as me making it to one of the other meetings, the last 2 have both been on weekends where I had no one to work at the store but me.

I have to agree with Dan. The 5-8 works better when held at a LFS. Though 5-8 is during my regular hours, that time is generally slower than the rest of the day. Maybe 4-7 would be a good compromise

Dan's got a good point, we're pretty lucky to have these guys stepping up and hosting the meetings. Probably should let it up to the individual people hosting to set the time. We definably have enough time to adjust for the next meeting as far as time spot. Personally I haven't any problem either way as far as time but I'm not talking for everyone. Hopefully we can also accommodate the hosts.
George

all very good points. I tend to favor whoever is hosting the meeting to stamp out the time.
