I don't see why not , I have a yellow, hippo and a sailfin tang in a 150 , If you don't have either tang I would recommend getting them both at the same time ., If you have one or the other they might fight for a little while . My yellow fought with my sailfin like crazy when I added it to the tank . But within 24 hours they were best buds.

I wouldn't try any smaller.turn the lights off and add them at the sametime and give them places to hide. You got a 50/50 chance!

It also depends on the species of tang. Purple tangs tend to be a little more aggressive than yellow tangs. Also, if one tang is much larger than the other you can pretty much guess what's going to happen. I've got a purple tang and a hippo tang together with no problems. I think a 120 would work just fine.

Sorry to barge in, You should have no problem as long as you put them in at the same time or rearrange your rockwork when you put the additional one in. We had to rearrange and they get along perfectly and even swim together most of the time .

Good Luck
