Can Snails Starve?

I have 20 or so different types of snails in my tank. 3 Turbo (one huge Snail) couple Mexican, some certs, another kind that I'm not sure of they were shaped like trouchas but red colored, and 2 trouchas. My tank's parameters have drastically improved and the presents of algae has seem to disappear. I am just wondering if the snails will slowly start to die from starvation? My tank is a 55 gallon with 70 lbs of live rock.
Can you feed them algae tabs or something haha

don't worry about it if your lights are on then algae will be growing. I wouldn't dirty up my water worrying about feeding my snails but thats just my opinion

Snails can starve just like anything else. I don't think it is very likely to happen in a reef tank of adequate size.

I agree with Ben on this one. The snails will balance out their population if there are indeed to many. But, with the mixture that you have they may not actually compete for the same "food".
