My wife would make me buy a new washing machine after that She is a total germ freak. That and a touch of OCD. Shoot she washes her hands every five or ten minutes. All jokes aside, I would really have to go buy a new washing machine if she ever saw that pic. Destroy the evidence as quick as you can!

Same thing here, my wife would freak. She is having a fit over the tank being open top with the new light fixture. She keeps asking when I'm going to get the hood back on. Looks like I"ll be making some type of canopy.

Actually the balls had been removed from my system and I was soaking them in bleach for a week and just used the machine to rinse them and spin dry. No I didn't use any softner.
Their bagged and put away for why I have no idea. I'll never use them on another reef system.

Ocnreef I know what your talking about. Whenever I crack the top of my canopy to help rid the heat build up, I get the same treatment from my wife that it's blinding her. She also loves when I run around the house turning everything off, of course she dosen't pay the electric bill. Running 720 watts all day long sure does wonders on the electric bill not including all the pumps.

It must be a wife thing, mine also makes comments about the blinding light. She says my 3- 400 M/H are making me go blind. She went out and got me a pair of UV glasses to wear when I'm working on my tank. So now when I lift the canopy, I hand her the glasses.

When they stop complaining it must be time to change out the bulbs.
