Berghia Nudibranch?

Has anyone tried these to get rid of aiptaisa? Do they work? Does any of the LFS sell them?

I have tried them & they do work, if you can make them happy they will breed like crazy in your tank. I have wrasses that ate them when they saw them
I do not think any local LFS's sell them.

Chelmon rostratus (Copperbanded Butterflyfish) Can also do the job if you are looking for a natural predator.

I have 3 peppermint shrimp in my 150 .. they don't touch em... they eat pellet food.. heh

I've also been thru 4 copperbands ( at $29-$45 a piece) ... they all lived for about two-three weeks and died .. so I gave up on having one... after spending that much money on them

When all else fails...

Shoot them with concentrated Kalk. Sure fire way to kill them.

I use insulin syringes since they have such small needles. Kalk is my method of choice.

...but I also have a Copperbanded Butterfly.

Is that the same as pickling lime? I've shot the three big ones with that several times and they keep coming back... I was using a feeding syringe ( that I just use for that ) ... maybe that's the problem ...

How did you mix it?
I use 6 teaspoon RO/DI to 3 of lime.
An important step is boiling it after its mixed. Not long just microwave until you see it boiling, cool and serve.
For some reason they think its food and wont retract right away when you do this.
Feed them as much as you can before they retract and then cover them over.
I have been very very successful with this method and have very little come back. I also actually turn off all pumps and returns for about 30 min while the lime sits on them and doesnt get blown away.
