Aqua Zoo is having a liquidation sale

Everything in the store is 50% off today until its all gone. They don't have any livestock though. Just wanted to pass it along. I got an email just now about it.

the store is in mandarin. the only skimmers they had their are the coralife 65 gallon ones. they had some tanks and other odds and ends . No live stock. the other stores are being sold off. the person who buys them is either going to sell off everything or open up another pet store.

Picked up the 39W T5 bulbs they had. $11 ea. Great price. Lots of salts & sand, dry food, & additive still in the store. Oceans Blend was still on the shelf.

the reef crystals was 37.00 for the bucket and there was only one set of 2 part (oceans blend) left. I didn't see any overflow boxes.
I did end up picking up a 36 watt uv sterilizer though - hopefully that will help w/ some issues of mine!!
I asked the guy at the register if it was today only and he said it would go on until it all sold

The stores all sold today:
Mandarin $37k being liquidated over the next two weeks, 50% of sticker price
Beaches $39k Being reopened by new owner
Normandy $22.5k Same as Mandarin

Normandy was sad. Several of the employees, some that had worked there for years had banded together to buy the store to reopen. They were outbid, and their workplace is being dismantled.

Side note: We can't match AquaZoo's prices for the next couple of weeks.

I would have loved to have gone to pick up a few things I need for the tanks but was in a holding pattern today waiting by the phone. Maybe I'll get a chance to stop by Thursday sometime.

I stopped by at 5:15 and they were closed. They said they would re-open today from 9:00 to 5:00 and again Friday and Saturday if necessary but would not be open Sunday.

Anybody notice if they had any UV Sterilizers left?
