teach,

I hope you got plenty. Sorry I couldn't stay longer, but my wife was getting a little impatient. She is really into my hobby only as far as looking at the tank once or twice a day. So, the idea of hanging around a fish store for an hour or so was the definition of misery to her

Paul,
I think you need to start your own tank thread.

I'd like to go up there with my kids and pick some of these up. My kids (and wife believe it or not) like trips like that. Can you PM or e-mail directions and what time does low tide hit up there? What do I need to bring with for transport and how many should I put into a 30 gal tank? Thanks for the info.

***Actually, I just thought how selfish it would be to run up there and only get some for myself. 3 kids and 2 adults should be able to bring back a nice haul......wait....what am I thinking, my wife won't touch those and I have two little girls. 7 and 5??? They won't either, my son is only two and might eat them.......Looks like it will be just me. Common sense really stinks.
Let me know if anybody else wants some......to a reasonable degree....I saw Keri put in an order for a couple hundred....

you should go at a low tide. Those snails are everywhere at blackrock. Even the hermit crabs wear their shells. I also find fighting conch there

What should I bring for transportation? Platic bags, fill sea ater and snails? Or whatever else I pick up? What should I not pick up? I'm sure there are bad things.

5 gal bucket works good. I would stay away from the red/brown leg hermits.
