Anyone I have traded with or given frags to
Just wanted to let anyone I have traded with or given frags to know, I have discovered redbugs in my tank. I am not sure from who or where they came from, but none the less I have them. I have only seen them on two acros, so I believe they are reletively new. If I have shared the red bugs, I appologize.
Now, does anyone know where I can find some interceptor saturday? My local vets either don't carry or will not sell me any as I do not own a dog.
Paul

Steve,
Not sure how long they have been there, I only noticed them last night on two acros. They seem to favor these two green acros/stags. If I helped to spread them to your tank or anyone else's, again, please accept my sincerest apologies. I promise, when these things are eradicated, I will make it up to anyone who may have gotten them from my tank, just let me know.

Let's see, Red bugs, AEFW's, pump failures, leaking plumbing, water changes, phosphates, nitrates, and what not. Darn this is such a relaxing hobby.
Sounds like another topic for this Saturday's meeting.

Funny, I suggested it before finding red bugs. Now, I am trying to retrace my steps to figure out when I got them and to whome I may have given them to.

Red bugs will die if the tank is empty of acros for 5 days according to the articles I have read.

Paul,
The last frag I got from you was in October at the meeting, and I don't see any in my tank.

Thanks Dwight! I appreciate the info. I have a pretty good idea that I got them reletively recently due to the small number. Please though let me know if you find any. I would like to make it up to anyone I spread them to with a choice frag AFTER the cleansing.

I managed to get interceptor from a local vet. I am going to treat the whole tank. I have a 10g setup to hold my hermits and shrimp that I can catch.

I've got red bugs in some of my tanks. One of wich has your frags in it Paul but these don't seem to be the Acro Eating bugs. They are on s Long tenticle Plate coral mostly and some on frogspawn. I've yet to see any on acros so I am going to assume what I have is not from you.
