any way to remove scratches from glass?

So I was looking at my tank today...and noticed three small scratches about an inch to two inches on the outside of the tank... I have no idea how they got there... could a magnet cleaner have scratched it somehow?

We just had some work completed on the house...and I'm wondering if someone bumped the glass w/ something when they were walking through with materials..even though I specified to be very careful around the tank....

Is there anyway to buff them out of the glass...or something like that? They don't go in very deep...so I thought this might be an option...but figured I'd ask here for advice.

My brother dose auto glass for a living and they have a compound for buffing scratches that happen sometimes on installation I can check with him tomorrow if you like to get the name of the product he uses, at least there on the outside and can be buffed out.

my magnet cleaner scratched the glass like that too. Look forward to seeing how it can be buffed out.

We have like 3 or 4 scratches on our tank, 2 are on the back, so we don't care about those but 2 are in the front and 1 is on the inside of the tank. They are very small, so they aren't a huge deal but it would be nice to know of a way to get rid of the one on that outside at least.
