Amazing thing just witnessed....

I came home from work tonight just in time to watch my BTA splitting. Here are some quick shots I got. This is what makes this hobby so great is to catch moments like this.

Nice pics, good job on the BTA. What camera are you using to take your pics?

I'm using a Nikon D70s.....For the price you are looking at I would go with the Kodak with the 10x optical zoom.

Ocnreef, was this the one they fragged the small colony for us? If so, I was the one that got one of the frags and I believe Pat got the other. The guy who worked there placed the forth frag (last one) in the back for himself.

Mine is doing fine. I have it directly under one of the MH about 1/3 down from the surface.

I'll post if there are any color change ups. It's interesting to track how the same coral reacts and grows in each of our tanks. Looks like 4 of us in the club have a frag of this one from the same colony. I'll take pics from time to time and post if ever requested.

Updated: MH is 400watt 10K XM

Those look like some really nice frags. I am looking for some pink birdsnest if anyone hears about one locally.

Thanks,

Thanks,
Check with Rob (Rob's Reef), I know at one time he had some nice pink birdsnest frags that came from his display tank.
